It was a fun session to meet at a dog friendly spot and watch him enjoy the great outdoors. He even went for his first swim in the Cahaba River. 2012 Winner of The Mug Shots contest

Irene Thames Gardner, Birmingham, AL photographer has just completed the event fundraiser for The Birmingham Humane Society by photographing over 60 pets.

” 2012 Mug Shots was a huge sucess and with the help of A’Mano Gifts we raised $5,461.00 to give to The Greater Birmingham Humane Society. I hear a drum roll…

And the winner of the 2012 Mug Shots is Timothy! He had over 600+ votes. Way to go Timothy. He was busted for being a “Seeker of Squirrels” but also gets a pat on the back for helping the GBHS out with so many votes. He wins the cover shot for the 2013 Mug Shots calendar this year and a wonderful custom pet back pack prize for his owners to carry when going for long dog walks filled with pet friendly items from A’Mano and a wonderful prize from Little Hardware and have his image enlarged for a wall portrait that will be at A’Mano for several months and then at GBHS. I want to thank all of you for helping make this a Huge Success. Here are the top 12 contestants that will be in the 2013 Mug Shots calendar.”

Irene Thames Gardner, Birmingham, AL pet photographer, has just completed the 2012 Mug Shots event at A’Mano Gifts to benefit The Greater Birmingham Humane Society. The voting is April 9th – April 16th (ends at noon on the 16th) at A’Mano Gifts located at 2707 Culver Road in Mountain Brook Village. It is $1.00 to vote and all the money goes to GBHS! There are 60+ pet contestants and they all want to win so caste your vote today. Here are a few of the Mug Shots.

Call A’mano at (205)871-9093 to schedule your beloved pets 10 minute photo session and help raise money for The Greater Birmingham Humane Society. Your pet might become the 2012 Best Mug Shot winner and be on the cover of the calendar. The top 12 winners will be in it for sure!

Birmingham, AL photographer, Irene Thames Gardner enjoys photographing and making art with the images for her clients to enjoy and cherish.

“I want to a share portrait of Louie who helped remind me of why I am a photographer. It was a joy and privilege to photograph Louie who was 13 when I took his portrait. Here is a color portrait of him that we put in a mat and a beautiful wrap around canvas for the wall. In honor of Louie I am offering my “Old Timers” book for 25.00 for the rest of the month of February. An image of Louie or any pet can be placed inside of the book to make them a part of the Old Timers series. This makes a special present and reminder of your beloved pet.
